Laoshan Mountain is located in the eastern part of Qingdao City, about 40 kilometers from the downtown. It stands beside the Yellow Sea, at 36 degrees north latitude and 120 degrees east longitude. It covers an area of 446 square kilometers, with “JU FENG” as its peak, which is about 1132.7 meters above the sea level.
Laoshan Mountain has a large number of volcanic rocks, which are famous for their volume and good quality. It is also one of the largest origins of Maifan Stones in China. Natural water under Laoshan Mountain is fresh, clear, sweet and free of contamination. For a long time, it has been mineralized by Maifan Stones and various volcanic rocks sufficiently, which makes it rich in a variety of minerals and trace elements that are beneficial to human health. They say that to drink this water continuously can help people get rid of diseases and live longer.
In China, Laoshan Mountain is honored as "Seaside Mountain of Immortals" and "Taoist Holy Land". In the long history, there were many hermits, Taoists, eminent monks, and even emperors who came to Laoshan to look for a way to keep healthy and live forever.
